Some Favorite Logos
April 10, 2026
It is random-niche-thing time! On the to-do list, we have...
Look at government organizationsLook at lost media- Look at cool brand logos
I guess it is time to see what all the wonderful brands have to show!
Movie Studios
I actually like most of these. The best haven't changed (Disney and Pixar), some have had neat 2D transformations (Warner Bros.), some just look better in 3D (20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures), and some of them are just too oversimplified (21st Century Fox).
Most of these are noticeably monochrome, probably to make it not focus on one specific color.

Quite extensive. And most of the logos haven't changed much from when I was a kid. All of these are nice, I don't have much negative comments apart from the ones that were changed to monochrome.
Streaming services
Subscription-based
VOD-based
Intriguing to say the least, I appreciate that VOD services still exist to this day after streaming's takeover. As for the logos, they are all colored and distintive so that is neat.
Retail
Colorful and mostly unchanged! Walmart has had a recent simplification that works a bit and Best Buy has a simplification that...fits in with the 2020's, I'll say.
While I do love the conveinence of the big two (Walmart and Amazon), I still like the concept of catered retail.
Platforms/Social Media
Financing
Banks
Card Processing
Insurance
They're all just so nice and colorful and most haven't changed recently so no comments from me. One that has changed is PayPal, which I would say oversimplified too much.
Before I end up getting carried away and adding every industry logo here, I'll end the blog.
