Phone Games

Draft • December 20, 2024

So my phone does not have mobile data, and it is not the fastest, great right? I'll give credit though, this is a nice phone and I use it to write most parts of my blogs on Google Keep

Cut the Rope HD

I opened Cut the Rope first and was greeted with the mobile game norm. Immediately I saw a full-screen promotion for the game's subscription. Yes, a subscription.

I then closed it and went on to the levels and, I don't know if it is just me but I hate when games 'guide' you on for way too long.

And if the subscription wasn't enough there can now be even more in-app purchases with their new skins for candies and ropes.

Though I must say at least ZeptoLab let Om Nom roam the Play Store in these times, the same can't be said for Angry Birds. Which Rovio pulled each and every old game off for no reason.

Fishdom

When I got my Nintendo DSi I looked for fish games as WiiWare had nice aquatic games like My Dolphin and My Aquarium. On the Myrient I found a fish tile matching game. Nice but a little too small, even for DSiWare standards.

Fast forward a bit and I now had Fishdom on Android, I saw on Google Play that it had no advertisements with purcahses so that must've meant something.

Well this game did a Peggle Blast a led on with nice animations and tricks you with micro-transactions.

Oh well, there is always, anything else.
